(CRI) Hong Kong singing legend Jacky Cheung will kick off a classic tour in October, holding his concerts in some six mainland cities.
The first stop for Jacky Cheung's classic tour is Beijing, where the singer has recently promoted his concert series:
"Whether the songs I perform at the upcoming concerts are old or new ones is not included in my consideration. Instead, I focus on the ways how to perform these songs and which parts need to be highlighted through my performances. So in fact, when I planned to arrange the concerts, I hadn't thought too much about the ratio of new songs to old ones."
One of Asia's greatest and best-known pop stars, Jacky Cheung had his first world concert tour dating back to 1993, and to date he has held 610 sessions around the world.
Jacky Cheung also made a success in his acting career and his latest roles in the 2015 film "Helios" and the 2016 film "From Vegas to Macau III" were both welcomed with high acclaim from audience members.
"2016 A Classic Tour", around Chinese mainland cities will begin from October 21 in Beijing, which will also take him to Chongqing, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Shanghai and Wuhan.
Three more shows will be held in March next year in Shanghai.
