Organizers of the upcoming Shanghai International Film Festival have announced they will be screening all 8 installments of the Harry Potter series at this year's event.
Organizers in Shanghai also say a "surprise" is in-store from Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling at the screenings.
However, Film Festival organizers say fans will have to wait until the screening of the first film on June 11th to find out what the surprise is.
Speculation currently surrounds an announcement connected to one of the two upcoming Harry Potter projects.
The film "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" is a prequel to the Harry Potter series, which is set to open in theatres this November.
A two-part London West End play "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child" is also set open at the end of July.
This year's Shanghai Film Festival will run until June 19th.
