(Toggle) Taiwanese singer Cyndi Wang held her ‘Cyndi Wants! World Tour 2017’ concert in Shenzhen on Saturday (Sep 23). Although the singer was trapped in a five-hour delay upon touching down due to the heavy downpour and only reached her hotel late at night, she still put in all her effort and gave it her everything on the concert day itself.
She performed 35 of her hit songs before inviting fellow Taiwanese singer and host Matilda Tao up on stage with her as a guest star and together, the pair performed Matilda’s song ‘Leave Me’.
“Looking at how hard Cyndi works, together with her good attitude, I feel that she deserves all the love in the world,” said Matilda, during a short commentary section, almost moving Cyndi to tears.
The two have had a close relationship ever since 11-year-old Cyndi won her record contract by singing ‘Leave Me’ on the singing programme Good Luck, hosted by Matilda herself.
Looking back on Cyndi’s recent scandal of a picture taken by her ex-boyfriend Yao Yuanhao, Matilda expressed her hopes for the 35-year-old to “meet someone who understands” and “adores her.” She also encouraged Cyndi not to waste any chances if she meets someone who treats her right.
Cyndi previously dated Taiwanese actor Yao Yuanhao but broke up in February. She is now rumoured to be dating a mystery man named Justin since August, though her agency has claimed they were just friends.
