The 23rd Beijing College Student Film Festival has wrapped up in the Chinese capital, with the modern tale of 'Mr. Six' winning big at the gala.

Veteran director Feng Xiaogang clinched a second 'Best Actor' title, after previously winning at the Golden Horse Awards, for his title role in 'Mr. Six'.

The Best Actress Award went to Bai Baihe, in recognition for her performance in 'Go Away Mr. Tumor'.

Director Xu Haofeng's 'The Master' received the Best Film Award, while Jia Zhangke, director of the domestic feature film 'Mountains May Depart' was crowned with the Best Director title.

Initiated by Beijing Normal University and Beijing Municipal Bureau of Radio, Film and Television in 1993, the Beijing Student Film Festival has gained huge popularity among college students.
